So in the iPhone screenshot below the 3rd digit is ’0′ shows manufacturing year ’2010′ and the 4th-5th digits ’21′ shows the manufacturing week, 21th week. So the iPhone manufacture date is 21th week of year 2010.

Here is another example, if the serial number is xx742xxxxxx then manufacture year is 2007 and 42th week.
